Owlheart basics name • Owlheart. age • Thirty-four moons. gender • Male. sexuality • Bi-Demisexual. clan • RiverClan. rank • Warrior. appearance allegiance • A tall charcoal tabby with long claws and vibrant green eyes. full • Owlheart is a massive tomcat, though he isn't very bulky nor muscular. He's more lithesome and stands tall. As much as he appears to be a Maine Coon, he truly isn't. The lithesome physique's peltage is gorgeous, having intertwining grays and silvers. Lets just say alabaster markings (silver/creamy/white), around his feathery chest. The tabby stripse and splotches along his flank are a very deep charcoal along with tan which blends into the charcoal. He also has original black tabby stripes around each foreleg and hind leg. Owlheart has trouble sheathing his claws, as they're abnormally long and quite sharp. The sharpness of the claw is average, it's just the length that isn't. Above all, being the cunning tomcat he is, he has a diverse tear in his ear, as if it was clipped, though, it goes diagonal. Lastly, his eyes. Owlheart's eyes are just beautiful, standing out amongst his ebony derma. They are a vibrant green, which can appear almost amber in certain situations. personality positives (at least three) + Generous + Sweet + Compassionate + Supportive + Intelligent + Leaderly negatives (at least three) - Overly friendly - Sympathetic - Insecure - Indecisive - Regretful etc. = Devoted = Restrained = Stubborn = Calculating Overall • Owlheart is a very generous and sweet tomcat, always willing to help anyone out in pretty much any situation as long as it has importance and a true meaning. Owlheart has a hard time saying no, in more simple words. Owlheart is a family kind of tom, being one of the most supportive felines around, supporting his family in basically whatever, as long as it's not disloyal to the clan. He is against anything that involves disloyalty. Lastly, he is a very compassionate sire, to those in his clan. He shows sympathy towards everyone, even if it's an act. He was and has always been emotionally and physically there for the clan, even if he was introverted and asocial as an apprentice. That changed over time. The massive tomcat is unfortunately, overly friendly, as he is often sympathetic towards cats within different clans. He doesn't intend to be this friendly, it just comes natural. He is very insecure, having the fear of being judged, considering his abnormal size, sexuality, and whatnot. However, he'd never do anything disloyal. He is more of a tom to make conversation before immediately attacking or murdering without reason. Owlheart is quite indecisive, never able to make up his mind, considering he is always worrying about choosing the wrong decision. Though, this varies on the situation. He despises choosing wrongful decisions. Even if it does come to a time where he must murder or injure another clanner, he often regrets it, being rather regretful of the things he feels is wrong. Owlheart is overly determined to keep the clan safe, protected, and happy at all times. He'd tend to avoid as much tension between the clans, unless it's necessary to let tension rise. In between? Owlheart is devoted to the clan, as he would never do anything disloyal or distrusting to his clan. He stands for the clan, and wouldn't dare make any forbidden plans or whatnot with an opposing clan. He is one to restrain himself, holding himself back from few things. Restrained of himself. He often keeps himself from injuring others, as he must have a great reason to do kill or injure another. Again, lastly, the sepia-colored tomcat is stubborn. He stands his ground a bit too much, at times, depending on the situation. Lastly, The tomcat is quite calculating, not towards anyone in the clan, but towards outsiders when needed. He's one to be strategic and apathetic in battle, so it's hard to predict what he'll do next. relationships (can skip) (birth) parent 1 • Blacktooth, tom, deceased (birth) parent 2 • Snowberry, she-cat, alive but blind sibling(s) • Newtpaw (deceased tom), Icestream (alive she-cat), Bitterflight (alive tom) history Two RiverClan warriors, Blacktooth and Snowberry, had a litter of four kits many moons ago. They were named Owlkit, Newtkit, Icekit and Bitterkit. Owlkit was the largest of the litter, a strong little tom, followed by Icekit, an average sized she-kit, followed by Bitterkit, a large tom, and finally, Newtkit, the runt of the litter, so he'd gotten 'newt' for his diminutive size. Bitterkit was a black, long-furred tabby with grey stripes and green eyes. Icekit was named for her icy blue eyes. Owlkit, however was not named such for any trait he possessed. Though his pelt may match certain species of the bird, it was an owl flying high above them seconds after his birth that gave him his name. The four were born in the season of Newleaf, on a chilly, but sunny morning. It seemed a blessing from StarClan. Newtkit was the timid cat of the bunch. He would often take coaxing to get him to explore like Iceskit, Bitterkit, and Owlkit. Icekit was reckless, charging around blindly, always wondering what was around the corner. Though Owlkit and Bitterkit were curious just as any young cat, they were more cautious than their rambunctious sister. However, whilst Bitterkit was harsh and moody, Owlkit quickly learnt to be gentler, due to his overpowering size. When his siblings would attack at their full power, Owlkit would not. He feared he might harm his siblings, after the many warnings his parents had given him. When they finally reached six moons, it was Icekit who was most excited. This wasn’t to say that Owlkit wasn’t ecstatic to be made an apprentice. It simply meant that he was able to hide it better than his sister, who quite nearly vibrated in place. Owlkit was give Breezeflight as a mentor, a senior warrior of DuskClan. Some feared the aging she-cat was too old to mentor another apprentice, and though Owlkit would be her last apprentice, she proved to the Clan that and old cat can push through until the very end. Some young cats might have been jealous when their siblings received younger warriors as their mentor, but Owlpaw didn’t seem to mind at all. Breezeflight was a very patient she-cat, who carefully explained each battle move, and each hunting technique to her apprentice, who proved to be a very technical cat. He had a tendency to ask a lot of questions, and preferred to know the whole process before trying it out himself. It meant that their training sessions tended to be longer than others, and he learnt slower than the others, but once the young sandy tom got it, he got it. Breezeflight was thrilled with the progress her apprentice would make, even if his siblings had learnt what he did two days before. She was never discouraged, and in turn, he was never discouraged. When he was ten moons old, the Leafbare was particularly harsh. The medicine cat had begun to suspect there might be something wrong with Newtpaw, as he would often have difficulty breathing after hard training sessions. It became blindingly clear when Newtpaw fell extremely ill once the cold rolled in. He spent six days in the medicine cat den, and Owlpaw could only watch horrified as his little brother’s body would be raked by horrible coughs that sounded as though the black tom was choking. On the sixth night, Newtpaw was hit by a particularly hard bought of coughing. Owlpaw watched as his brother’s green eyes widened suddenly. It took the sandy tom a moment to realize that he had stopped breathing. Newtpaw thrashed wildly, his mouth agape, desperate for air, but none came to him. His lungs had filled with fluid, and the young tom passed away before he could be made a warrior. It was hard on the whole family, and though Newtpaw's passing left a heavy feeling in Owlpaw's chest, he knew that his brother was with StarClan now, where he could live without the pains of his illness. Icepaw, however, did not take it so well. She began to grow more and more aggressive in her training, and Breezeflight and Owlpaw both could see that her recklessness had only grown. She seemed to disregard her life completely. This would be proven later on in her life. Bitterpaw...he'd been devastated as well, and he had stopped working hard. It was as if the strong and harsh apprentice was depressed, and actually had a soft side. For two moons, it was the same. Icepaw pushing herself too far, Bitterpaw slowing down in his apprentice progress, and Owlpaw doing his best to understand the lessons Breezeflight taught him. And then the day they were named warriors. Owlpaw became Owlheart and Icepaw became Leaopardstrike. Their first challenge wasted no time in appearing. Owlheart was on a stroll with Icestream, and Bitterpaw became Bitterflight, Breezeflight, Icestream, Bitterflight, Blacktooth and Snowberry. It was a walk of friends and family. The air was light around them as they joked and laughed. All but Icestream. The group split slightly, heading off to hunt. Owlheart had dropped low to hunt a nearby mouse, when a shriek caught his attention. It was a familiar voice. He took off as fast as he could in the direction of the cry, in time to see a fox grab his mentor and shake her mercilessly. Owlheart through himself at the creature, even though he knew it was too late to save Breezeflight. The fox turned its attention on him now. As it charge towards him, Owlheart did his best to avoid the attacks, calling out loudly to alert his family. He could hear them charging towards him, calling his name. Suddenly, the fox lunged, and Owlheart rose up on his hind legs. The moment he did, he knew he had committed a fatal mistake. He tried to stagger back, out of range, but the fox’s large claws managed to hit him. Most of the wounds were harmless scratches, but one claw managed to dig deeper than the others, cutting him from the chest to just before his stomach. Just as he collapsed and things began to fade, Owlheart made out a shrieking sound. He would learn later that it had been his sister as she and his parents charged the fox. By some miracle, Owlheart survived his injuries. However, he was in the medicine den for many moons. He learnt that his family had managed to chase the fox away, and though they had managed to get Owlheart back alive, Breezeflight had not made it. His wounds began healing slowly, and movement was hard for him. He risked tearing his wound open once more. During his time in the medicine den, he was powerless in the death of both his father and sister in the same battle. Just as he had expected, Icestream and attacked blindly once a cat killed her father. His mother, Snowberry was devastated, understandably, as was he. He felt useless, trapped in the den. Slowly, he began to be able to move again. He was told that he had been lucky. Though the wound had bled a lot, it had not been deep enough to cause death. Still, he was warned it would take moons to heal, and he knew it. By four moons, he could move without pain. He began to practice, but it was slow, and careful. He wouldn’t go back to his full force until ten moons later. It was all out of caution. His wound turned into a scar, and at 23 moons old, Owlheart began to retrain himself. After two moons, he was back and ready to continue. His mother had since retired to the elder’s den, partially due to her rising age, partially due to a freak accident that blinded her. No one knows what happened, as she cannot remember. She was found unconscious and bleeding from her face and paws. She had minor injuries on her paw, but her eyes were now completely useless. Owlheart visited his now blind mother everyday, helping her to readjust to her new life without sight. Owlheart was given his first apprentice at the age of 26 moons. Thunderpaw was a rather excitable tom, whom was given to Owlheart in hopes that the older tom would be able to calm him down a little bit. Owlheart learnt, through this, just how much he enjoyed being able to teach, and tell of his experiences. Thunderpaw always seemed excited to hear about what he had to say. They were good for each other, Owlheart passing on his calmer ways, and Thunderpaw keeping Owlheart's mind occupied from the stress he had endured since becoming a warrior. The training sessions...he never made simple. He'd hide, and climb trees and have Thunderpaw track Owlheart down. The training for fighting was probably the hardest, as Owlheart would go hard on the younger feline, making sure that Thunderpaw would be as skilled as Owlheart was in battle as well. Hunting: Well, that wasn't easy for the both of them but in the process, working together, both toms learned to hunt. After moons of training the young apprentice, Thunderpaw had his warrior ceremony, being renamed Thunderspirit, for his personality. Owlheart had somewhat changed Thunderspirit into a more reserved yet energetic cat. It was strange, but unique. Thunderspirit and Owlheart, two peas in a pod. Eventually, leaf-fall turned to leafbare, the days would grow colder and colder by the week. Owlheart, himself had a hard time fighting off the illnesses that started to come. However, during this time, DuskClan was running low on warriors, considering felines were getting sick. Owlheart was one who remained healthy, so he'd helped train another apprentice of RiverClan. He trained another feline named Briarpaw. This she-cat was sarcastic and moody, but Owlheart learned patience this way, and he wouldn't mind that later on, as it would of course, come in handy. The season was rough, but Owlheart pulled through, making sure training sessions were difficult, but not too difficult to the point where he'd wear out the apprentice, or cause her to get sick or fatigued. The sessions made this young apprentice successful, and she was eventually named Briarstrike, for her amazing skill in battle, and her hard strikes. Thankfully, Owlheart had been healthy. However, leafbare had spread greencough, and greencough had spread like a swarm of provoked bees. Greencough had caught the current deputy of this time, and this deputy was a close friend of Owlheart. The deputy was always being raked of petrifying coughs, just as Viperpaw was...This reminded the time of when Viperpaw died of the same situation. Owlheart barely managed to pull through that death. During these times, Owlheart pushed himself harder, worse than when Icestream, his sister, had pushed herself. Owlheart was only doing this for the sake of RiverClan. He'd always go on hunting and border patrols, leading quite a pawful of them, but mainly border patrols. He made sure each border patrol was bringing back as much prey as possible for the clan, making sure the clan wouldn't starve. Even if the prey was scarce, Owlheart never gave up, often allowing others to go back, and leave him alone to hunt, as others would grow exhausted and annoyed from all the searching of prey. Unfortunately, the deputy had passed away, and he was there to whiteness it; it was like watching his brother, Newtpaw die before his eyes once again, but this time, with the deputy. Owlheart was distraught, but he tried not to let it get the best of him, he'd only serve the clan better, just because of his close friend's death. He'd always worked harder, every time someone close to him passed, even though he did care for everyone within the clan. Today, Owlheart works hard and courageously throughout the clan. |
