i already made an intro post for my staff intro but maybe i could introduce myself better as a person over here :3 i'm actually quite young (16, going on 17 on christmas!) and in my junior year of high school. i already have a vague idea of what i want to do - chemistry or physics, depending on how well i do in physics this year. i don't know if i want to pursue a doctorates so i might just try for a bachelors in chem and a masters in education and then teach chem. currently i'm tutoring a sophomore in chem just because i talked to my old chem teacher this summer saying how much i love chem and how much i miss chem and still want to be involved with it while waiting to (hopefully!) take AP chem for my senior year.
while i do well in school a big part of my life is art. i'm not the greatest and probably won't share much here but i really enjoy drawing, it's cathartic and just helps me focus in general, and i hope that for my senior project i get to properly do all my pieces about how mental illness and music have affected me all my life. transitioning off of that, music is also a huge part of my life. i'm not the greatest at playing anything but i know how to play ukulele (doesn't everyone these days /:) and currently trying to learn bass? if it isn't obvious, fall out boy is my absolute favorite band and i still dream of meeting them ;___; if you ever bring up fall out boy to me i'll probably never shut up about it so be warned ahah
i enjoy playing pokemon every now and then but i'm a casual player so i don't go all hardcore battle and pokedex completing stuff. i don't think i've ever completed a pokedex LOL. i also like playing acnl but i haven't played in a VEEEERY long time and at this point i'm too scared to even try lol. i think i've been trying to reset my town to the perfect map/villagers/fruit combination so... rip me.
i also like writing sometimes (which roleplay has helped with a LOT) and i have a guinea pig? but i really want a cat (except my dad hates them so he won't let me have one). i volunteer at an animal shelters 2x a week for 3 hours each time, sunday mornings and monday evenings, so don't expect me to be around until sunday afternoons and... hardly at all on mondays. i participate in yearbook tuesdays and thursdays sometimes and do tutoring on fridays, as well as occasionally attending an extra help for my own on wednesdays so most days i'll be on in the evenings (around 5pm est), though i will try my best to peep on during school!
i also play on dragcave d: that's about all i have to say about myself though ahahah although i'm sure there's more to me than just that. otherwise idk! hope that was enough about me
