ASHES TO ASHES
Leafbare is the most common call for sickness. As the Clans transition into newleaf, ThunderClan cats have begun feeling rather faint, and ill, despite the weather starting to warm up and prey beginning to show up again.ThunderClan was prepared. Like many leaf-bares before, illness strikes the camp. The youngest and oldest are affected first - overcome with lethargy from fevers. It's assumed to be an outbreak of white-cough; dangerous, but manageable. That is, until one apprentice starts coughing up blood.
It's been countless moons, but Wrenthroat can recall a lesson from her late mentor; this is red-cough, an illness that needs immediate treatment or it will claim lives. The solution lies in Chickweed, a plant that only thrives within RiverClan terrain. But can ThunderClan rely on a former enemy for help?
There will be no time constraint, but it should generally be over before May! It will be divided into two arcs, with a midpoint. The first one is when cats start falling ill and being confined to the medicine cat den. The climax, or midpoint, is when Wrenthroat receives herbs from RiverClan, after a lot of debate with Lionstar, as well as Scorchstar. The second arc is cats beginning to heal.
