Alternating in hues in a standard tabby pattern across the length of her body from the crown of her head to the tip of her tail. Her undercoat is off-white. Covering her belly, beneath her jaw line, chin, and around her nose and mouth. She has a slender build verging on scrawny, not that you could tell based on the length and density of her coat. She is of average height as compared to other cats. personality ADVENTUROUS. Willing to experiment and try new things, Smokey wants to experience all that life has to offer her. While others may settle for what makes them content, her and her adventurous spirit will strive for complete fulfillment and satisfaction regardless of the risk or cost. She often indulges in activites that provide her an emotional high. She's disinterested with consequences, and has no qualms about putting herself in danger. She needs very little encouragement to push her boundaries if something truly has her attention. CATTY. She often uses this trait as a tool to reach an end goal. She knows precisely what she wants and is determined to succeed. She can be very good at reading others, quickly determining who to pick on, who to avoid, and how far to push. Her behavior can be hurtful, and often occurs in an underhanded fashion, it can be difficult to catch or prove. Passive aggressive, would be another way to describe this. CLEVER. A good percentage of the time Smokey just kinda makes things up as she goes along. Forward-thinking is her specialty. She's able to anticipate problems and begin planning in advance. When a difficult situation does arise, she keeps her head; instead of panicking, she chooses to focus and to persevere. Her answers are usually unorthodox or unconventional, but she has clearly made it this far on her whimsy ways. Determined, confident, and imaginative, she's a handy one to have around when things go south. However, while she is perfectly okay with assisting her friends and family, this trait drives her need for self-sufficiency. Which can become overbearing at times. FLAMBOYANT. Smokey is high-spirited and has a flair for the dramatic. She brings the energy of a situation and is skilled at drawing every eye in the crowd. Individuality, confidence, and a sense of flash are all ideals that she holds very close. However, she has a desire for attention. Positive or negative, it doesn't matter. And in some cases, she is borderline narcissistic. FRIVOLOUS. She's pretty easy going and eager to avoid trouble/confrontation. She is friendly, outgoing, and open-minded. She can be quite resourceful, especially when it comes to getting out of work and creating new forms of entertainment. She makes a great peacekeeper, using humor to defuse tension and helping conflicting personalities get along. She could be classified as lazy or undisciplined. Loyalty isn't one of her personal strength, since entertainment is her true love. Her irresponsibility makes her almost impossible to depend upon. ELUSIVE. Smokey plays with her hand close to her chest. Keeping important information to herself when she knows the stakes are high. Because she's not forthcoming, she easily fits into the role of a listener or confidant. When purposed with fight or flight, she'll fly. Falling to the shadows whenever tensions run high. She's guarded, and rightfully so. Not straying too far away from half-truths and vague responses. IMPULSIVE. She has a deeply rooted need to make life interesting, making her a catalyst for change. Her ability to easily do and say what she pleases can be viewed as the ultimate freedom from an outsider's standpoint. There is also no limit to what she would do for a companion in need. She makes it impossible for others to plan around. She's highly reactive, and doesn't always think about the big picture or how her actions could affect those around her. She has the charming ability to take a situation from bad to worse in seconds flat. She's volatile, ruled by emotion, and prone to negative habits. JUDGMENTAL. Smokey usually isn't afraid to speak up, which can help clear the air if it's needed. This can lead to open discussion and planning to change a difficult situation, rather than letting dissatisfaction fester. Because she believes herself to be right, she calls it how she sees it, even if it's unpopular or hurtful. Her vigilance for flaws makes her good at analyzing projects and processes, where she is adept at spotting issues and weakness before they become bigger problems. MISCHIEVOUS. At her foundation, she is fun-loving and free-spirited. However, her intelligence and curiosity tied together in an impish concoction leaves her constantly churning out new and inventive ways to pass the time. Her fearlessness and enthusiasm are enviable qualities, drawing others in at face value. And when she does get into a tight spot, she's often able to charm her way out of it. She has no qualms about what others may think and is far more interested in a one time event than debating the philosophy and travesties behind her commitment issues. QUIRKY. Smokey can easily be labeled as peculiar. Conventionality should never be expected of her, and with that, she can often get away with things that others can't. Because she is easily stereotyped, she is often underestimated or overlooked. Her tendency to think outside the box enables her to see problems from different angles and come up with unorthodox solutions. She can be viewed as suspicious, making her an easy scapegoat for weird happenings. Her strangeness usually ensures her life of solitude, rather than living with companions. RESOURCEFUL. She is very much forward-thinking when it comes to action. She's able to anticipate problems with her intended goal, and react in ample amount of time. Even while her mother, Aspenflower -a former ShadowClan warrior- was apart of her life, it only came in infrequent visits. And when she was finally old enough to be weaned, Aspenflower stopped visiting altogether. Her father found her one day, alone in her mother's old nest. Tucked away in the narrow space between two privacy fences. And once he realized she had been abandoned, he became a more prominent figure in her life. At least for a little while. He taught her how to survive in even the busiest parts of two-leg place. Took her hunting in the more rural areas. Made sure that she could fend for herself. And when he felt confident in her abilities, he eventually stopped coming around so much too. She spent the majority of her time wandering. Doing whatever she felt like on her own time schedule. She became fiercely independent, only interacting with other cats when it suited her. Every once in a while she'd bump into her father, and they'd have a nice talk. But eventually, would part on their own paths once again. Not having any ties to one spot gave her the sense of ultimate freedom. Even to the point, where she did some traveling. Experiencing a new adventure each and every day. From an outsider's perspective, it might have appeared to be a lonely lifestyle. But it was all she had ever known, and to her, she thought she had it good. As Smokey grew up, her gypsy lifestyle impacted her attitude. Without structure, she became impulsive. Selfish. Shallow. A wild child in her own right. And through the moons, it hasn't gotten any better. The biggest question on her mind, what will she do next? |
