Warblerfoot basics name • Warblerkit > Warblerpaw > Warblerfoot age • 22 Moons gender • Tom. sexuality • Heterosexual clan • ThunderClan rank • Warrior appearance allegiance • an short-haired black and white tom with yellow eyes. full • Warblerfoot is a tom of average build, though he is on the lighter side of the spectrum as far as weight is concerned. He is primarily black with some white markings, most notably of which include a white snippet on the right side of his mouth. He has a white chest and a marking that makes him unmistakable to identify throughout all four Clans; he has a perfect black circle of fur in the middle of his chest. His eyes are bright yellow. personality +Attentive>> Warblerfoot is aware of exactly what is going on at all times. Very little surprises him. He keeps up with the politics of Clan relations outside and inside of ThunderClan. He keeps tabs on the movements of rogues and loners especially, always making sure that the rogue Crowfire keeps well away from his family and his Clan. +Guileless>> He is a blunt and honest tom who doesn't appreciate either giving or receiving "the run around". When asked a question, or for his opinion, he he was very straightforward. Most cats appreciate his honesty, some do not. He will even tell the truth when it is not in his, or a loved one's, favor. He does not believe in lying. He believes that no good ever comes of it. +Protective >> Like his father, he is naturally protective of those that cannot protect themselves and would lay down his life to save someone that he cares for. He is especially protective of his mother and brother, which was nice for Antwhisker when they were young but can be annoying at times now that they are grown, an anyone that even looks at Antwhisker sideways hears from Warblerfoot eventually. -Unforgiving >> He can be quite unforgiving. He is slow to anger or cross, but once a cat does cross him, he tends to hold onto the anger for longer than is healthy. -Indecisive>> Having seen what happens firsthand when a decision is made without proper contemplation, Warblerfoot has a hard time making a definitive decision about any anything. He second guesses himself, and others, frequently. This indecisive trait of his has occasionally caused others to accuse him of questioning decisions made by higher ranks that had no business being questioned and it occasionally gets him into trouble with the higher ranks of the Clan. -Dogmatic >> Warblerfoot can be quite opinionated and he takes his opinions to be irrefutably true. He sees all rules, guidelines and policies as black and white where others may see them as gray and open to interpretation. He is matter-of-fact and arguing with him on what he believes to be true is almost pointless. This is not to say that he will not listen to the right cat or be obedient when his views contradict an order that is given. = Warblerfoot is very quick on his feet. He runs swiftly and climbs expertly. He takes pride in these abilities. = Warblerfoot loathes his brother, Crowfire, and refuses to acknowledge that the tom ever existed in the first place. To him, the only brother that he has is Antwhisker. relationships Father • Raventooth > a large, short-haired pure black tom with stark yellow eyes. [Deceased] Mother• Doveface > an average, short-haired white and gray she-cat with green eyes. [Living] Brother • Crowfire > a large, short-haired pure black tom with pale yellow eyes. [Living>Exiled Rogue] Brother • Antwhisker > a small, short-haired pure black tom with green eyes. [Living] history Warblerkit was born to Raventooth and Doveface of ThunderClan in the middle of an average newleaf along side his two brothers, Crowkit and Antkit. Crowkit was always the biggest of the three, followed by Warblerkit and then Antkit. Doveface was very proud of her beautiful litter and cared for them diligently with only the utmost love. Raventooth, though naturally more distant from the kits than his mate, as he was with all cats, including her, still provided a comforting, protective presence and guided them along with the experience of an honorable, strong warrior. Crowkit was always the bully, usually picking on Antkit more than he picked on Warblerkit. Warbler did his best to protect his small brother and to cheer him up when Crowkit, more often than not, went too far and his poor Antkit's feelings. Warbler was always having to defend his brother. Of course, Crow never misbehaved in front of their parents. Only when they were along. When they became apprentices at six moons old, they were all very excited. It was clear that Crow was going to grow into the most capable fighter, where Warlber was quick and agile, able to climb trees faster than any cat in ThunderClan. Ant was more suited to hunting, but was still a decent fighter than could hold his own, given his small size. Warbler managed to hunt and fight equally well, but averagely so. Their apprenticeships went off without a hitch and they all received their warrior names on time; Crowfire - for his tenacity in battle and the abrupt and unpredictable behavior that he displayed throughout his life -, Warblerfoot - for how swift and sure he was on his feet -, and Antwhisker - based on his expertise in hunting and tracking. They day they were given their warrior names was a very proud day for their parents as they yowled and called their names out the loudest among the gathered ThunderClan cats. It was only shortly after they became warriors that disaster struck and tore their little family apart. Raventooth had taken his sons out on a border patrol, with the permission of Lightningfleet, their Deputy at the time. They were near the WinClan border, still on their side of the Singed Forest, when his father brought them all to a halt, opening his mouth wide to draw in the surrounding scents. His sons did the same and a moment later, every hackle was raised and they all looked around for the source of the alarming scent. Crowfire found it first and hissed at the creature. Raventooth swatted at his son to quiet him, but the young tom paid him no mind. He ran after the lanky, thick furred predator, yowling threats and meaning to fight the monster. All three of the toms called after him, but he did not stop. They all chased him. By the time they reached the two, they were already engaged in battle. The fox was fierce and merciless. Small whimpers could be heard nearby. Raventooth knew that she was protecting young, knew that his son would die if he continued to fight. Without any other choice, their father flung himself into the fray, coming in between the fox and his son with a snarl that scared even Warblerfoot. He fought valiantly, and as long as he could, telling his sons to run for help. Warblerfoot was the one to run and get help. He was the swiftest, after all. Antkit was frozen, unable to do anything to help as he watched his father take hit after hit, flinching every time that his father, or even his brother, yowled out in pain. Crowfire continued to fight alongside his father, but was constantly being blocked off from the fox thanks to Raventooth. As fast as he was, by the time that Warblerfoot returned with two experienced warriors and Lightningfleet, it was too late. Crowfire and Antwhisker had retreated long enough for the fox to run away with her kits and then returned to sit beside their father's lifeless body, heads hung down in grief. Warblerfoot, sick to his stomach at the smell of blood and death, wretched a short distance away before closing the gap between them all. Raventooth was clawed to shreds. Crowfire looked none the better, but he was alive. Anger erupted from deep within Warbler and he lashed out at his battered brother, leaping onto the tom with claws extended. It was his fault that their father was dead. The two toms hissed and growled as they tumbled and fought. Warbler's white chest caught a well aimed swipe and fresh blood began to trickle down his chest. The fresh smell of his own blood snapped him of his rage and brought the fight to an abrupt halt. It was just as well, Lightningfleet had been yelling at the two the entire time; not that they noticed. Looking over, it was clear that Antwhisker was a total mess. Warblerfoot rushed over to comfort his brother, while he apologized to the Deputy for fighting with his brother. He also told Lightningfleet exactly what had happened here; that Crowfire had charged after the fox without giving any consideration toward the well being of the rest of the patrol, because he was hungry for a fight. Unfortunately, he'd chosen a fight that he could not win, a right that costed them their father's life. Raventooth gave his life for a son that didn't even deserve it, as far as Warblerfoot was concerned, and he would never forgive his brother for it.
