plumfrost basics name • plumfrost age • 36 moons gender • female sexuality • bisexual clan • shadowclan rank • warrior appearance allegiance • a long-furred white she-cat with orange eyes. full • plumfrost is a slender she-cat with long, white fur. she is rather scrawny, with her being quite thin and her fur often being unkept although she does try to maintain it as well as she can. her eyes are an orange colour and she also has a light pink nose at the end of her snout. personality positives + plumfrost is a hard worker. with her difficulty as an apprentice, she has needed to be and this has continued into her time as a warrior. she wants to prove to everyone that she does have the skills needed, even when they already might believe it and therefore puts effort into everything she does. + she is also energetic, seeming to barely tire even after she might have been out all day. it won’t take away the spring in her step, or how she might run ahead of everyone else on a patrol. + no matter her age, plumfrost will always be youthful. despite how old she may be, it will not stop her from still considering herself to be young and she will still feel fresh out of the apprentice den and ready to do her duties. negatives - being youthful can also make plumfrost childish. she will still get into petty arguments and not even realise when she is doing it, until afterwards when she has given it some thought. - she is also known to being clumsy, something she knows about herself from her apprenticeship and tries to stop, although can sometimes be trying too hard to be less clumsy that it makes her more so. she is known for tripping over her own paws and slipping over when it is icy. - another negative trait of plumfrost’s is that she is prim. if something is said that she disagrees with, she will blatantly turn her nose up into the sky and show it, or even say it to them face-to-face. relationships mother • orchidfur, female, alive father • beethorn, male, alive uncle • ravenfrost, male, deceased cousin • rookshade, agender, alive cousin • honeywhisper, agender, alive history orchidfur had never given having kits any consideration up until she met beethorn. she was content with the small family she had, with her brother ravenfrost and his two kits. in fact, she couldn't wait to see rookkit and honeykit grow up into the fine warriors she was sure they would be and she felt that the two of them would be enough for her. she felt no need to have her own and would pride herself in taking care of the other two from time to time as they alone might potentially be a handful. it was only when beethorn came into her life that she started to reconsider her decision. it took a short time for him to sweep her off her feet, yet he was the only one who made her feel as happy as she did and she was sure that she could not have found anyone better for her. their romance very quickly turned into them becoming mates and this was when beethorn suggested the pair of them have a litter. orchidfur's initial answer to this was a definite no, although after listening to the tom's reasoning, it was when she began to think about it more. maybe it had never been what she had originally intended to do, yet the two of them would be able to take great care of the kits together and so this lead her to eventually agreeing to it. soon it was beginning to grow hard to miss the fact that orchidfur was pregnant and she moved into the nursery to prepare for it. it was now that she realised she had made the right decision as she could not have been any more excited to meet the kits she was about to have. she and beethorn couldn't wait to become parents at this point and their relationship only strengthened with their joy. eventually the day rolled around and it was a quick birthing with only one kit to come from it. the kit was a small, white she-kit and after some discussion, they came to an agreement that her name would be plumkit. plumkit was shy to begin with, barely speaking to those who could come and say hello to her in the nursery. even when orchidfur would try to insist that these were her clanmates and therefore were her friends, she still didn't quite believe her and would try to hide behind her mother. she couldn't help being scared, especially when they were all so big and when she told her father this, he would often chuckle and tell her that one day she would be their size too. for one so small, she found beethorn's words hard to believe and argued that he couldn't possibly be right. after all, they were giants compared to her! it was when plumkit was two moons old that another queen gave birth. she was ever so kind to plumkit and when orchidfur wanted to go out, she was willing to watch over her daughter and therefore it made sense that plumkit would befriend her kits. one of them was a tom-kit who looked somewhat alike her named garlickit and the two became best friends almost right away. orchidfur was surprised at this, especially when plumkit was so shy whilst garlickit was so loud and outgoing but of course, she was delighted nevertheless and it made her happy that her single daughter might be less lonely now she had a friend. she would often sit and watch as plumkit ran around with the tom, usually playing a game of chase or mossball. perhaps plumkit was finally starting to come out of her shell now that she wasn't so alone a lot of the time. eventually the day came that plumkit became plumpaw and therefore had to move out of the nursery and into the apprentice den. she was a little sad about this but she was comforted by the fact that garlickit wouldn't be too far behind her, with just another two moons to go before he also became an apprentice. from the first day of her training, plumpaw didn’t show exceptional skill. she was clumsy, doing her pounces all wrong and often tripping over her own feet which gave her mentor a very difficult task of perfecting her. they wanted the best for her and decided they wouldn’t give up on her, especially when plumpaw would sob about how she would never get to become a warrior. her mentor did not want to fail her and he they her that one day, she would be one of the best warriors the clan had, it was a guarantee. soon garlicpaw also moved into the den and it was when he was around that suddenly, plumpaw found she started to learn better. the two were able to practise with one another and he would never laugh at her when she made mistakes. instead he would offer her advice and she would do the same for him, to the point where it allowed for the pair to become much better in their training. even when he was so arrogant with others, he was always kind to her and never made her feel belittled. eventually the day arrived in which she was given her warrior name. garlicpaw sat beside her as she prepared for it, saying how she was going to be amazing and to make him proud. as he was her best friend, she didn’t know that she had already succeeded in this. after all, she had gone from barely being able to catch a mouse to showing some decent skill. as her name of plumfrost was announced to the clan, he was the first to cheer for her. all she had to do now was wait for him to also become a warrior and then she would be content, at least until the pair started to find lovers and potentially had their own families. only, days before his ceremony, garlicpaw disappeared. plumfrost wondered if maybe he had just gotten lost and she counted on him to come back. hours turned into days and it was only a moon had passed where plumfrost realised he wasn’t coming back. she didn’t know where he had gone or why, the one thing she had to signal to her that he had left was his scent that went over the border. plumfrost was confused, especially as he had been so excited to become a warrior and she wondered what had changed. how could she have missed something so big because it seemed that he clearly didn’t want to be a part of the clan anymore. nevertheless, time went on. she received an apprentice at the age of twenty-five moons, a tom called berrypaw. unlike her, he seemed naturally skilled from the start and it made her a little wishful that she could have been as naturally gifted as he was. at least she had her name though and for that, she was grateful. berrypaw received his warrior name of berryfang and that was the most exciting thing to happen to her in the recent moons, with her hoping that she will get another apprentice one day. |
