His coat is a russet brown and covered in darker stripes and spots to give a dappled appearance. He has one white forepaw, and his brilliant eyes are a bright green color. personality positives (at least three) + Noble Ottersplash is a very polite, yet proud cat. He knows no better clan than Shadowclan, no better cat than a Shadowclan cat. Yet, he is still humble and gracious to any cat in need. + Hopeful Ottersplash is an optimist, and is very rarely cynical. He sees the best in everyone, and everything, preferring to give any cat the benefit of the doubt. + Calm Not many have seen Ottersplash lose his temper. He's always been quiet and calm, preferring to watch than act, preferring to think everything over before deciding. negatives (at least three) - Naive A hopeful cat, sometimes he can seem naive and silly, almost kit like. He likes to see the best in everything, even knowing how dark the world can be. - Indecisive Sometimes he'd rather wait than act, and this can be taken as a sign of cowardice. He's no stranger to younger cats challenging him on patrols, wishing to act when his first instinct is to report back instead. - Non-confrontational Ottersplash will always rather talk than fight, and he hates shedding needless blood. However, in the life of a Warrior, fighting is survival, and survival should never be taken lightly. etc. = Ottersplash has a quirky love of feathers and will take every chance he can to collect and line his nest with them. = He hates rain and getting his paws wet; he cannot swim and almost drowned as an apprentice. history Otterkit was a quiet kit. He was content to listen to the elders tell him stories and watch the apprentices practice in camp. He was never one for disobeying his mother, or ignoring what he was told. He dreamed of being a great warrior, respected and an asset to his clan. The calm and quiet kit grew into an intent apprentice, determined to impress his mentor and his mother. He practiced hard and long, becoming a proficient fighter and a stealthy hunter. However, he thought he could do better. Otterpaw got the idea of teaching himself to swim, thinking that it was sure to impress his clanmates, perhaps even give them an advantage in battle. The first couple of tries were harmless enough, however, then the rain came. The young tom was unaware of how much the water could change after a rain storm, and was unprepared for the harshness of the current. Otterpaw was dragged under almost immediately. He was saved by a passing Riverclan patrol, who marched him back to the Shadowclan camp. He received a fierce scolding from his mentor, and after serving a moon of punishment and confinement to camp, he recognized that he had other talents he could hone to bring to Shadowclan. He focused solely on his hunting and fighting skills, and eventually received his warrior name. As a young warrior, Ottersplash kept away from the river whenever possible, and warned the younger cats to do the same. The calm tom had grown into a noble cat, and while he was still a rather quiet and reserved cat, he put every fiber of his being into doing the best he could for his clan. |
