now this is an interesting pair!

originally i was going to sign up crow as a mentor because she needed to learn some responsibility but when i saw little, i just KNEW i had to have crow mentor him. 

first off, they both come from the same background. outsiders brought into the clans young. crow will sympathize with little and will make sure he knows he is wanted in the clan. while their clanmates might look at him with hostility, crow will fight to keep little around. 

then again, crow has the emotional intelligence of a pinecone. this will literally be the hardest thing she's ever done. not only will she be mentoring littlepaw, but she will be his main caretaker, seeing as he doesn't really have anyone else in the clan. this is a huge weight on her shoulders, but actually the kick in the ass she needs. crow needs to be taught responsibility and having little as her apprentice is exactly what her character needs right now. 

i am so excited for these two. their histories are so similar and they are exactly what each other need. crow needs to learn some humility, empathy, and patience while little needs to build up some confidence. plus, there's no one else better to turn him into a great warrior than crow. she's rough around the edges, but she is amazingly talented. 

what i'm most excited for is seeing the two of them learn how to fit into the clan together. crow is still trying to figure it out herself, so maybe they can help each other find a place among these feral cats. 

bottom line: i want to see these two grow close. i'd love nothing more than to see the two of them explore a deep mentor-apprentice relationship. i want to see them come to rely on one another and feel like now they have a reason to stay in the clan. they have someone who cares for them.
