Wolfswipe basics name • wolfkit >> wolfpaw >> wolfswipe age • twenty-seven moons gender • cis tom sexuality • pansexual clan • thunderclan rank • warrior image set • I - II - III - IV - V - VI appearance allegiance • a large long-haired light gray tabby tom with piercing green eyes and fading stripes. full • The most noticeable thing about him is his sheer size. With a visible muscular structure and a broad and tall stature, he is easily one of the largest cats in the Clan if not the forest, befitting his namesake. His pelt is long and wiry to the touch, double coated with an under layer of white wispy fur and an outer layer of solid diluted gray with barely visible stripes on his legs, head, and tail. The colors are mottled and mixed together, appearing lighter on his chest and underbelly and darker along his spine and flanks. He has several notable scars along his shoulders and right flank from two specific battles, though one would have to be looking for them in order to see them through his pelt. His tail is longer than his body, covered in long thick fur like the rest of his body, and his eyes are perfectly round and shaded a dark green that is lighter towards the edges and darker around the pupil. personality positive traits: + Courageous, Sociable, Attentive, Dependable, Mischievous, Protective, Strategic, Optimistic. negative traits: - Temperamental, Arrogant, Obnoxious, Impetuous, Carefree, Gluttonous, Oblivious, Resentful. miscellaneous quirks: = Wolfswipe hates getting wet; the slightest dampness on his fur adds a lot of weight to it. = Wolfswipe is madly in love with his mate; he has never looked at another cat since he fell for her. = Wolfswipe's favorite hobbies are sparring and adventuring; he'll drag anyone into them to join him. = Wolfswipe doesn't have a problem breaking the Warrior Code; he'll bend it till it shatters if need be. = Wolfswipe hasn't forgiven Rabbitfoot for not helping Fawndapple; he barely tolerates him at best. = Wolfswipe absolutely loves to eat; he'll stuff himself so full he'll get sick from it if not watched. full • Much like his namesake, Wolfswipe is a cat of aggressive temperament, impatience and loyalty. Though he has the smarts to think things through, his first action is to attack first and ask questions later. To his Clan and family he is viciously protective and possessive over them, and will do whatever is needed to keep them safe. And it is only these cats that carry ThunderClan scent that see the softer side of him; the one that is not all teeth and claws. When someone he cares about is in trouble, he's the cat who will stand beside them through thick and thin; whether that entails dropping everything to rush blindly their rescue or sit quietly beside them in the Medicine Cat's Den to keep them company. This is not a cat who takes betrayal very well, either to the Clan or to his family; he'll give every chance available for repentance, but if it is rebuffed he won't hesitate to kill though he finds no enjoyment in it. He prefers a fair fight, and won't fight those he feels cannot hold their own against him. His faith in StarClan is absolute, but he prefers to bend the Warrior Code to what he feels is appropriate - especially in matters that he feels is best for his Clan and family. relationships PATERNAL // father • shrikeflight, tom, alive MATERNAL // mother • turtlespots, molly, alive SIBLINGS // brother • rabbitfoot, tom, alive brother • craneheart, tom, alive brother • sheepstone, tom, alive brother • avocetpaw, tom, alive sister • primrosepaw, molly, alive PERSONAL // mate • fawndapple, molly, alive PROFESSIONAL // mentor • TBD history • The courtship of Shrikeflight and Turtlespots was a swift and passionate whirlwind romance - basically, Shrikeflight took one look at Turtlespots and fell deeply in love, and vice versa. Before long, the two warriors were seen everywhere together, never apart for more than a day. Shrikeflight was a fierce and confidant warrior, a bit older than Turtlespots and renowned for his strength and passion, while Turtlespots was a more careful sort who preferred to watch from the shadows and plot, so it was surprising that both these two very different cats would feel so strongly for each other. Nevertheless, practically in the same moon they became mates, Turtlespots fell pregnant with her first litter of kits. From that union, two young toms were born who would go on to become Craneheart and Rabbitfoot, and soon enough after they entered the Apprentice's Den Turtlespots fell pregnant again and delivered two more toms. One was a sleek and solid color of black, while the other was as steely gray much like his father. Turtlespots named them Wolfkit and Sheepkit, after the shades of their fur. From the start the brothers were vibrant, fierce little hellions - causing havoc in the Nursery the moment they were able to walk. Whether it was pouncing on unsuspecting queens or hiding from their mother, they were always up to something. It took all of Turtlespots' patience to deal with them. Shrikeflight was a constant presence in the kits' lives, visiting often and taking time to play with them when he had free time. From him, Wolfkit learned what it was to be a father. Going into the Apprentice's Den, Wolfpaw was apprenticed to the warrior ___, who saw the potential in the youngster to be a great fighter. But most of Wolfpaw's apprenticeship wasn't spent training like Sheeppaw's was - rather, it was spent pining and longing... for the lovely and innocent Fawnpaw. Much like his father's view of Turtlespots, the moment Wolfpaw's eyes fell on Fawnpaw his heart was stolen from him. However, Fawnpaw's training and his own nervousness from the intensity of his feelings kept him at bay from outright saying it, something Sheeppaw would tease him for mercilessly. But that didn't stop Wolfpaw from doing what he could to impress her. Her days of training her hard and tiring, with Fawnpaw often kept out training for long periods, so as an act of affection he would secretly leave her flowers, such as wild lilies, and beautiful stones in a fresh nest of moss for her every day that he could. He made sure she never caught him; this was for her benefit, not his... but that didn't stop him from snarling at any tom that thought they might have a chance with the young beauty. His mentor allowed the distraction, as long as Wolfpaw trained hard, and took every chance along with Sheeppaw to tease him. However, that distraction almost became too much when Rabbitfoot, Wolfpaw's own brother, stepped forward to take the credit for the nest building. He'd noticed how lovely the young molly was getting, and desired her for himself - of course she believed him and fell hard. Wolfpaw was heartbroken, whilst Sheeppaw was outraged as was his mentor, but Wolfpaw wouldn't let them step up in his defense. If Fawnpaw preferred Rabbitfoot, then that was that. However, the heartbreak was clearly noticeable on Wolfpaw's actions, and so it was no surprise that only two moons before he was to become a warrior, the apprentice and his mentor ran smack dab into a young fox's jaws. Between the two of them, they managed to blind it in one of its eyes and send it running, but while his mentor was only lightly injured by the beast, Wolfpaw was far more seriously injured and was confined to the Medicine Cat's Den for the rest of his apprenticeship. Infection set in during this time, and despite the medicine cat's efforts it was soon in StarClan's paws whether Wolfpaw would live or not. The leader chose then to give the tom a Dying Warrior's Ceremony, naming him Wolfswipe so that he would go to StarClan a warrior rather than an apprentice. Throughout the days, Sheeppaw, Rabbitfoot, Shrikeflight, Craneheart, Turtlespots and even Fawnpaw would visit him at times, patiently awaiting the day he would rejoin them... or join StarClan instead. Miraculously, Wolfswipe pulled through a moon after Sheeppaw became Sheepstone, and left the Medicine Cat's Den to join his brother in the Warrior's Den. But all was not peaceful just yet; two moons before Fawnpaw was to join them, her mentor was found bloodied and beaten at the edge of the territory, and Fawnpaw was nowhere to be seen. Immediately, search parties were sent in all directions for the missing apprentice; in fear for her life and unwilling to wait, Wolfswipe gathered Sheepstone and then went to Rabbitfoot for help, hoping that he would join their own search party. However, to his anger and horror, Rabbitfoot was not interested in searching for her. Outraged, Wolfswipe and Sheepstone went alone, searching in the directions not covered by the parties, until at last they found her by the Sundrown Place - in the paws of three rogue kittypets. Immediately, both brothers entered battle, but Sheepstone was injured and pinned, and Wolfswipe had no choice but to stop the battle lest he risk both Fawnpaw and Sheepstone's lives. Thinking quickly, Wolfswipe remembered a time with their youngest siblings, Turtlespots' third litter consisting of Avocetpaw and Primrosepaw, when they had eaten some red berries. In fear for their lives, and thinking the berries were Deathberries, Turtlespots had ushered them into the Medicine Cat's Den, only to be told that the berries were Wintergreen berries - berries that resembled yew berries but were generally harmless to eat. Coming up with an idea, Wolfswipe made a deal with the rogue kittypets - he'd share with them the "secret" of warrior strength if they let his brother and friend go. Intrigued, the three cats agreed, and let him go to find this "secret". Wintergreen berries had been used to heal his wounds after the fox attack, so he knew what they smelled and looked like, and was quick to find some and bring them back, where he ate the berries to show they weren't poisonous. Now believing the tom, the rogue kittypets demanded he bring them to the bush the berries came from, but the bush that Wolfswipe lead them to was that of a Yew berry bush. The rogue kittypets ate the berries, and soon died, leaving Wolfswipe to lead the shaken Fawnpaw and injured Sheepstone back to camp safely. Things after that went smoother, and Fawnpaw became Fawndapple, but as Rabbitfoot approached her to court her officially, she refused. After her rescue, she had fallen hard for Wolfswipe, and her feelings were confirmed after Sheepstone told her in secret that it was Wolfswipe who made her nests, not Rabbitfoot. Angry at having been lied to, she broke off any contact with Rabbitfoot, and instead waited for Wolfswipe to leave camp before she started to make a nest for him, lining it with sweet smelling flowers and shiny stones just has he would do hers. She sat down beside the nest and waited for him to return, grooming herself and making herself look presentable, until at last he walked through the den entrance and saw the nest. Realizing he'd been outed, Wolfswipe confessed to both being the nest builder and to loving her, and Fawndapple returned his feelings. Since then, the two have been loyal and loving mates. In the recent moons, Wolfswipe hasn't had much to do - he maintains a close bond with his family and former mentor, except for Rabbitfoot, and is talking with Fawndapple about having kits. Though only time will tell if that will happen. |
